Effective: August 24, 2026
1. File contents
Locuvo's conversion and editing tools are designed to process supported PDFs, Word documents, and images locally in your browser. Locuvo does not intentionally upload the contents of files you place into the workbench to its application server for conversion.
Closing or refreshing the browser tab may remove in-memory files and conversion state. You are responsible for saving downloaded results you want to keep.
2. Information associated with your account
When you sign in, Locuvo may store account information required to identify and operate your account. Depending on information supplied by the authentication provider, this may include:
- Your account identifier.
- Your email address.
- Your profile image, if provided.
- Your current Locuvo plan.
- Authentication session information.
3. Conversion usage information
Locuvo may store limited usage information needed to enforce plan limits and operate the service, such as your current daily conversion count and the date associated with that count.
This usage metadata is separate from the contents of the documents, PDFs, and images you process.
4. Google sign-in
If you choose Google sign-in, authentication is handled in part by Google. Google may receive information normally required to complete the authentication process according to Google's own privacy practices.
Locuvo receives only the account information made available through the configured authentication flow and needed to create or access your Locuvo account.
5. Payments and Stripe
Paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe. Locuvo may store a Stripe customer identifier and subscription-related status so that it can determine whether your account has access to Pro features.
Payment-card information entered into Stripe's payment interface is handled by Stripe rather than being stored directly in Locuvo's application database.
6. Cookies and sessions
Locuvo may use cookies or similar browser storage when necessary for authentication, session management, preferences, and application functionality.
Some tool preferences or local activity may also be stored in your browser when a feature explicitly uses local browser storage.
7. Third-party resources
Locuvo may load software libraries or other application resources from third-party infrastructure. Those providers may receive normal network information such as your IP address and browser request metadata when those resources are requested.
Locuvo does not intentionally send the contents of your selected files to those providers as part of the conversion process.
8. Data retention
Account, subscription, authentication, and usage records may be kept for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, maintain account access, comply with applicable obligations, prevent abuse, or resolve disputes.
9. Security
Locuvo uses reasonable technical measures intended to protect information associated with the service. No internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security.
10. Children's privacy
Locuvo is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children where parental consent or other authorization is legally required. If you believe information was collected in error, contact the service operator so it can be reviewed.
11. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as Locuvo changes. Material revisions should be reflected by updating the effective date shown on this page.
12. Operator
Locuvo is operated by MC SANTE PLUS SERVICES LLC.
