1. Using Locuvo
By accessing or using Locuvo, you agree to use the service in accordance with these terms and applicable law.
If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use the service.
2. The service
Locuvo provides browser-based tools for operations such as converting images to PDF, exporting PDF pages as images, editing or merging PDFs, converting Word documents to PDF, and rebuilding selectable PDF text into editable Word documents.
Conversion quality can vary according to the structure, fonts, images, complexity, encryption, corruption, or layout of the source file.
3. Your files
You retain responsibility for the files you choose to process and for determining whether you have the necessary rights or permission to use, edit, transform, or distribute them.
You should keep your own copies of important source files and verify converted output before relying on it.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use Locuvo to:
- Violate applicable laws or regulations.
- Infringe another person's intellectual-property rights.
- Attempt to compromise, disrupt, or overload the service.
- Bypass plan limits or access controls.
- Use another person's account without authorization.
- Introduce malicious software or intentionally harmful files into systems or services.
5. Accounts
You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for maintaining appropriate control of the authentication method used to access it.
6. Free and Pro plans
Locuvo may offer free and paid plans with different usage limits, supported file sizes, batch capabilities, or other features.
Current plan details shown in the product or during checkout govern the features included with a subscription at that time.
7. Paid subscriptions
Paid subscriptions may renew automatically according to the billing interval disclosed during checkout unless they are canceled.
Payments and subscription management may be provided through Stripe. You should review the amount and billing interval shown during checkout before completing a purchase.
8. Changes to the service
Locuvo may add, remove, modify, limit, or discontinue features as the service evolves. Reasonable efforts may be made to avoid unnecessary disruption, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.
9. No guarantee of conversion accuracy
Locuvo is a utility tool. Generated output should be reviewed before use, especially for legal, financial, medical, academic, business, or other important documents.
Complex formatting, embedded fonts, scans, images, columns, forms, tables, and unusual PDF structures may not reproduce exactly.
10. Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without guarantees that every file will convert successfully or that every feature will always be available.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service operator will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from use of the service, loss of files, or reliance on generated output.
12. Changes to these terms
These terms may be revised as Locuvo evolves. The effective date should be updated when material changes are published.
